TENERY

PUBLISHING COMPANY

Tenery Publishing Company offers a discreet line of professional writing, printing and publishing services for both business and personal clients.

With four decades of experience writing both private- and public-facing content, our market niche is the client who seeks a professionally designed and written product but finds most outsourced writing and publishing firms to be overpriced.

Our services are diverse but joined in a common objective: connecting our clients to the people, information and stories that are important to them.

I invite you to review the menu of services presented below and described on our SERVICES page - and then call, text or email to discuss how we can help you make the connection you are seeking.

Thank you for trusting us with your project.

VALUE LEGACIES

Most of us meticulously plan our financial legacies – directing how the residue of our life’s work will be passed down to the generations behind us. But perhaps as important as our financial legacy is our value legacy:

It’s a centuries-old tradition within the Jewish faith for parents to write and deliver to their children an ethical will – a value legacy that passes down a set of personal values and life lessons from one generation to the next. Similarly, a legacy book is a tribute from adult children to their parents - recognizing and honoring the values and life lessons they received from their moms and dads.

What values and life lessons did your parents or grandparents leave with you? What values and life lessons will your family inherit from you?

We help parents and adult children author their own ethical wills and legacy books - memorializing their families'  "North Star" guiding principles - publishing them into paperback or hardcover books to be cherished and shared with current and future generations.

Visit our SERVICES page for FAQ's, pricing and examples of both an ethical will and a legacy book - hopefully inspiring you, too, to create your own value legacy book.

NEWSLETTERS AND ANNUAL REPORTS

You already have a website, so you might wonder whether you also need an annual report or newsletter. Consider this:

Your organization likely has several classes of stakeholders: directors, members, patrons, donors and sponsors. They are all busy, their attention scattered over a wide landscape of responsibilities and interests. Your organization must compete for their attention. Your website is a passive form of connection - waiting for your stakeholders to reach out to you.

Annual reports and newsletters are active forms of connection - metaphorically raising your hand and attracting the attention of your stakeholders. They are calls to action: increasing stakeholder engagement and revenue.

Visit our SERVICES page to learn more about how an annual report or newsletter can help you increase stakeholder engagement for your business or organization.

DIRECTORIES

A directory is a connector - a symbiotic relationship between people who need goods and services and providers of goods and services who need clients. We build and publish directories in very special situations where there does not yet exist a good database to help either of these groups find the other.

Visit our SERVICES page for a list of FAQ's and a redacted example that illustrates how one of our directory projects served as an effective connector between customers and providers.

GRANT APPLICATIONS

Most nonprofit organizations rely upon funding from foundations or individual donors who require applications for the grants they award. Because these donors receive far more requests than they can fund, they must choose which of their applicants to fund. Having served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations myself, I have learned how to write concise, compelling applications that will stand out in a crowded field of worthy applicants.

Visit our SERVICES page for a list of FAQ's and redacted examples of some grant applications I have written the past few years.
